"A person may be industrious in a thousand ways but without his powerful stars, if God has not destined, how would he get prosperous? declares Swami Muktanand."
When I read this question asked by Swami Muktanand, I read it as "a person may be skillful in a thousand ways, but without god's ruling then how can this person prosper in life?
I do not think a person has to prosper in this world socially or financially, but instead a person should strive to prosper spiritually while here on Earth. To be prosperous is to be rich, successful, and favorable in worldy pleasures. A person should be rich in having a vast amount of knowledge, not worldy pleasures. A person should be successful in pleasing Lord Swaminarayan, not wordly pleasures. A person should be favorable in the eye of God, not wordly pleasures.
